What's so special about the 2016 Viper ACR?

If the "standard" Dodge Viper isn't enough muscle for you, prepare to be knocked out by the Viper ACR. The revived "ACR" option stands for American Club Racing, and those three little letters (and some innovative engineering, of course) make this 2016 Viper variant the fastest street-legal Viper ever.

The voluptuous hood envelops a fire-breathing 8.4-liter V10 engine worth upwards of 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. That raw power is filtered through a standard Tremac six-speed manual transmission and complimented by the Viper ACR's lightweight aluminum, magnesium and carbon fiber construction -- not to mention its eye-catching aerodynamic design.

Relive the grand arrival of the 2016 Viper ACR to the automotive market earlier this year when you watch the brief footage below. Have questions about this upcoming model? We'd love to talk shop about this high-profile Viper trim, so feel free to drop by the showroom here at our Anchorage, AK Dodge dealership or give us a call at 877-818-0167.
